It was amazing to see how different life is in Likoni. The kids were so graceful and thankful for everything we did for them. They were really disciplined and worked hard for their goals. That was so nice to see. Also, the teachers were really nice and kind. They helped us when we asked, gave us the opportunity to improvise lessons and supported us for teaching the children some things about the world. It was absolutely amazing, we are really thankful to experience this beautiful country and the even more beautiful people.

My time volunteering at Rays of Hope Community School in Mombasa was truly special. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with incredible warmth and hospitality. The staff and local community made me feel at home right away.\r\nThe children are absolutely wonderful – kind, curious, and full of energy. Their eagerness to learn and their joy in even the smallest things left a deep impression on me. Every day was filled with laughter, learning, and genuine connection.\r\nIt was inspiring to see how much love and dedication the teachers and volunteers put into giving these children a better future. I feel very grateful for the experience and for everything I learned during my time there.\r\nRays of Hope is more than just a school – it’s a place of hope, resilience, and community spirit. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to make a meaningful contribution and be part of something truly heartwarming.
